Yes quite a few members use this. There are others such as Forge, AMS, Buschur and 3-port solenoids.

I've never used a Hallman, but they are very popular amongst both DSMs and Evos. I would say you made the right choice. I used an Extreme MBC for a long time on my eclipse and now I'm using a AVC-R, but I miss the simplicity of the manual, but I am going for lower boost in low gears to fight wheelspin. In an Evo, I think an MBC is a better choice if you aren't going to let the ECU handle it.

Funny because I extremely HATE the Extreme MBC that I currently use on my talon. I am switching to Forge or even Halman.

Hallman is one of the best manual boost controllers available IMHO, if you decide to go that route feel free to contact me for unbeatable pricing

Yeah, mine got rusty and hard to modulate. I'd prefer one that was more precise, but I decided to toss it and jumped straight to the AVC-R.

The Pro is by far the most popular, but some people choose to go with the Evolution version to control boost in car. Again be sure to contact me with your decision before purchasing to get the best price
