Evo JDM 03 Issues
Hi,
I have an jdm 03 Evo VIII.
This had an HKS F-CON SA piggy back on it when I bought it, but since you need to be HKS certed to mess with these I removed it.
I bought a cable and evoscan from limitless.co.nz, then I downloaded Ecuflash.
OK so I tried to read my ROM, plugged in cable started program then selected 03 - 05 evo VIII, hit read and turned the ignition on.
It read my rom then prompted me that it did not understand my ROM.
Asked if I wanted to dump the data or try to redefine it or go into developer mode.
Any ideas why this didn't work?
Evoscan won't work correctly because you need to change the 2byte load calc?
It will only display i cell at a time.
I was then thinking about getting a plugin Link G4, but as I understand it these are only available for 4 Plug ECU's and Not 3 plug ECU's like my car has.
Any ideas?
