Retune needed for ets licp?
Hey guys I was just curious when installing a licp (the one I happened to have ordered is the ets v2) do you need to retune? On ets's website they state that you don't need to retune. Also because of the larger inner volume of the new peice does it effect boost levels?
Sorry if this has been covered Ive tried searching evom and google and didn't really find anything.
Thanks for any info!

So retune needed. But what about boost would it read lower? Id be useing a MBC not ECU controlled boost. I do have the JDM Map sensor though so i am logging boost, just not doing the whole ecu controlled boost.

Also I was under the impression that the stock LCIP is just a huge restriction and swapping it out for a quality piece is a great way to pick up some extra power? no?
Thanks guys

Im a little unclear as to what you mean is not needed? The tune, boost resetting, or the LICP itself? Because you then say retune later for best results? could you be a little more specific?

Can't go wrong! Just install it and enjoy, you can always get more power from tuning, but it will be minor. I would wait tell you have a few more mods and get a tune.
Thanks!
