new e85 setup
car was just tuned for e85 and the engine light is on becuase of wide band gauge dont have the o2 sensor in and just waiting for the delete rom but when i create boost sometimes the engine light will flash and i was told thats detecting knock but with e85 i wont have to worrie about knock its just a false reading is that true?
no, you should never ignore knock. it doesn't matter if you have c16 racegas in the car, it can still have a bad tune and knock. the only time you'd ever ignore knock would be if you're experiencing phantom knock or something before boost hits. If you're unsure if its real knock or not do a pull and log it and if the timing retards at the same rpm the lights blinking then its REAL.
depends when you're knocking. how much load and throttle you're putting out. it can be tip-in knock, which you can overlook. but if its knocking when you're flooring it and its in the higher RPMs...it might be a problem. you should give us more info

If the Check Engine Light (Knock Light) flashes between the RPMs of 3k-4k it is usually just tip in knock and you shouldn't worry about it too much. However, if the knock light flashes after 4k RPM and higher then you should be worried. Be aware that there is 2 types of knock light flash, a slow one which is a 3-4knock counts(usually) and a fast knock flash which is a knock count of 8 (usually). It will depend on what the tuner changed them to. A check engine light because of the O2 sensor can be deleted using EvoScan, and a Tactrix Cable.
