Buying a GPS
Buying a GPS
Wife wants me to get her a portal GPS, so I figured I might get one that I can use for data logging me Evo. I know EvoScan has a whole unit but its a bit out of my price range.
Does anyone know how the whole datalogging software works with a GPS unit?
Any help would be great

EvoScan is a custom data logging solution that has GPS as a value added feature.
The only other unit that I am aware of that has data logging features and that also has GPS built in is the Zeitronix DashDAQ Series II, but that is $749 including GPS support (not including the actual ZT-2 wideband controller & data logger itself).

I have heard some people say that it is ok... really for logging I dont think that the unit is powerful enough in processor speed to handle a good data log. I would say stick with a laptop/tactrix cable... As for a GPS unit check out the MIO 520c... It has a ton of features and can be modified to run many different GPS programs.
