For the last several months I've been datalogging and tweaking my map via Race Tuner for the AP. I think I've gotten my WOT down without much issue with knock count, registering >2 on most runs.
However, no matter what I do with partial throttle (little or no boost at all, 30%-70% throttle) my knock sum always register at least 2-3 counts and sometimes as high as 6-8. It's never consistent and always happens from 2k -3.5k rpm range, usually when it happens it's either from a stop or on occasion in 3rd/4th rolling into throttle to pass. I've tried leaning and richen A/F, adjust timing for the low/mid range load cells around those rpm regions. I'm stump! I'm wondering if it's just phantom knock or if my motor is just noisy, I do have a build 2.0 bottom end.
I never experience WOT knock, it's quiet as can be under boost so should I be worried about these partial throttle knock counts? Also any suggestions will be appreciated.
