engine clicking noise! help

Well driving to work today, when I push the gas pedal and accelerate it makes the sound of like (a baseball card in a bicycle tire), it only makes the noise when I'm accelerating. And can't tell any difference in performance.
Any help would be great!

sorry ive only had it for 3 weeks or so, and coming from a cts-v. So don't know crap about this thing..
here to learn

But yes it does get louder with rpm, but it does it lightly when in neutral if i get on the gas, but a lot louder if i am in gear accelerating.
I wouldn't say its serious because i don't see any change in the overall performance just sounds like somethings loose.

are those things listed, easy to look at?

totally random but could an exhaust leak play a roll?

I know this is an old *** thread, and I'm bumping it, but I have the same exact problem with my car right now. Did you end figuring it out?
