It seems everyone has something negative to say about the E01.....it doesn't work well, etc etc, I was considering the E01 and E-Manage with all the harness', but people just say "its slow, it sucks, etc. etc. " Any confirmations or negations on this?

the E01 can be very capable...but it pales in comparison to the support tool and a cheap laptop. For what you pay for the E01 (around $550), you can get a very nice used laptop, which allows you to use the support tool, and get much more data displayed (much easier to tune with).

Are you planning to tune yourself? If so, spend the time learning the E Manage on the stock boost...then upgrade to a better boost controller down the road.

I do plan on tuning myself. I also wanted a nice boost controller and display, but I've since found that it just doesn't seem to cut it

Well, it's my weapon of choice... When i spoke to the signal drifter guys, that's what chunky uses, i believe drifter X uses the HKS...

it works fine, but the EVC5 is a better unit from what we have found in terms of boost control

yep, I like it and the display, not to mention the built in boost gauge.and it looks cool,most think its a little TV.
