Evo 5 harness and ECU in EVO 8

Evo 5 harness and ECU in EVO 8
I have a evo 5 swap in my evo 8. Almost done just gotta mess with the wiring harness. The stock 8 Harness was kind of messed up and hacked and the shell didnt come with the evo 8's ecu. And the EVO 5 motor came with a nice clean uncut harness with the stock evo 5 ecu.
I want to know if I can remove the evo 8 harness and use my 5 harness and ECU?
I know I wont pass emissions but I can get around that.
How difficult is it to plug in the harness inside the cabin. Do I have to mess with the fusebox plugs?
