I know this may sound like a stupid question so please bear with me...

my tuner is going to help me disable the code because it is getting faulty readings, but since I live in Arizona and for emissions they only do the OBD-II testing, will they be able to find out and fail me if I disabled this code so the 'Service Engine Soon' light doesn't come on?

 

I have mine disabled and I passed fine. (From CA)
