ECU Swap

Hello,

So my current troubleshooting has led to to a possible problem with the ECU. I'm doing some final testing today.

I have an USDM EVO9, My question is if I'm going to swap my ECU with a used stock one is there anything to consider or revisions of roms that could cause a problem?

Thanks.

You will have to have the ECU programmed for your IMmobilizer if you're tossing a stock one back in...

You having an EVO 9 you can only swap in an EVO 9 ECU due to Mivec control..

Ah yes right. I have ECUFlash and a Tactrix cable. When I had first reviewed my rom i noticied I never had a value in that field? Would I just clear it on the new ECU and be good?

Alright so I do have a single hex value of 3201 on the Immobilzier screen. I should have no problem then if I flash this on to the new stock ECU?

Also does the Internal ID version number make a difference?
