Trying to understand Lean Spool

Hi All,

I am trying to get a better understanding of Lean Spool and was hoping if someone could confirm if my thoughts are correct.

Based on the first image (LeanSpool.jpg - from top left to bottom right):

1) Lean spool is enabled when AFRs under 13
2) It adjusts the AFR based on the map
3) Lean spool stops when AFRs hit 14.7
4) Min load needed for Lean spool is 10
5) Lean spool only works between 2500-7000 RPMs
6) It stops leaning when it hits the load threshold

based on the above, would the area in the green box be the lean spool area as per the second image?

If that is a correct assumpton, then would that not mean that lean spool would never kick in based on the mapping? If everything between 14.7-13.1 is not leaned out (thats how i read the mapping file and interpolate).

Or am i missing something?

cheers
