Sorry guys if I have posted this in the wrong section; however I have been trying to get my evo 4 to work. It has been running fine since I popped in a new fuel pump but the other day it allowed me to accelerate into 2nd gear and then just cut-out!? Now I cannot start it, have checked for a spark but I get nothing from all 4 plugs, someone told me it was the crank angle sensor yet another told me it could be the ECU!? I have ordered a Tactrix cable and downloaded ecuflash, evoscan and another (name doesn't come to mind at the moment) is it true about the evo 4 import ECU - it cannot be read by anything other than mitsubishi's main dealer?

Forgive me for my ignorance as I am a dinosaur with new cars, I have always worked on older types and found them a great deal easier to work on than these electronic, mind numbing technological beasts
