Stock ecu vs aem ems

Hey guys I'm going to to be running 6466 with all supporting mods I am wondering if it would make diff if I went with aem if car will make more power, along with benefit.

Stock ecu will help your car make the same power an AEM can. It should be up to your tuner if you already have one in mind though... whatever the tuner is more comfortable with. Stock ECU also has a lot of nice safety features.

Both will work. Aem is easier to use IMO...

both will make the same power when using speed density. i only used aem a handful of times, but it was easy to figure out each time i did. the stock ecu requires more digging/research, but if you're not tuning the car yourself it doesn't matter.

do whatever the person tuning your car recommends.

my personal advice is keep the stock ecu though.

you can live tune the maps with Aem right? that would be the biggest advantage imo!

yes and it has boost comp tables where it will self adjust afr etc based on boost pressure. aem is nice, but not good enough to get me to remove a perfectly good stock ecu.

when tuning it on other cars though it is a really nice ems. its very user friendly.

the stock ecu has live map DMA stuff also, but i don't bother with it.
