Evo 4 running lean
Evo 4 running lean
Gents,
I put the Evo through a dyno run at a shop last week to try and diagnose a misfire. The AFR was very lean so they could only complete half of the test. The guys tried cleaning the MAF but no change.
So I replaced the fuel filter yesterday and I'm planning to replace the fuel pump. With the pump, I'm thinking about upgrading to a Deatschwerks DW200 instead of a Walbro. Anyone have any opinions here? Also planning to install by dropping half the tank instead of cutting the lines. Has anyone done this in an Evo 4? Keen to hear about it. Looks like it's going to be a b#tch.
If those changes don't work I'll put in an Evo 5 ECU and get a reflash (anyone got a cheap one, by the way?!). And maybe injectors.
Cheers
