Gsc s2 cams stalling issue

Hey guys whats up this is my first thread on evom and I really need your guys advice. Last month my motor unfortunately blew so I had my engine shipped out to buschur for a 2.3 stroker, built head, and threw in some gsc s2 cams. I originally thought that when we got the engine back in the car that I would be able to drive it conservatively for the 500 mile break in before getting it tuned. However, today we got the car running again and realized that the drivability with the cams untuned is horrible. It pretty much stalls everytime you come to a stop. I don't think its a very good idea to drive for 500 miles like this untuned. But since the break in period is 500 miles I can't really get it tuned. Any advice you guys could give me on what to do would be great. Thanks in advance.

Need to do some base tuning to get the car to drive properly. Then go onto the power tuning.

My suggestion is to work with one of our remote tuners.

I am tuning a car that was built a couple of weeks ago. I did a base tune (idle and cruise) and after 500 miles we are on to the rest of the tune.
I recommend doing it this way. Lmk if you have any questions.

Choose your tuner now for break-in tune AND power tune. You'll pretty much save 3-400$ doing it with the same tuner (no need to buy 2 base tunes from each)

or
If you are quite DIYer and you have evoscan, take some logs of fuel trims, AFR, RPM, whiile cruising, idle, stalling issue. Send logs and your ROM on the thread and some of us will be happy to share our knowledge freely to quickly resolve your issue.

+1 for domyz just watch and read tutorials a ton because there are really good ones that save a lot of communication overlaps. + there's greatly varying levels of self tuners here so you can pretty much guarantee an answer or a highly educational discussion

I am still trying to figure out how come someone can increase the displacement by 15% and add cams and expect the car to run let alone idle. If for some unknown reason that motor goes south, you have no recourse with a thread like this on the forum. Do it rt and get your car to a pro to get it tuned and do it now---there is no waiting to break it in. Running it lean and out of time ( knock) does absolutely no good for break in.

Alright guys thanks for your advice. When it comes to tuning I'd rather leave it to a professional I don't feel comfortablee trying to do it myself. I live in Nj so do you guys have any suggestions of where I should go to get tuned? Last time I was tuned I went to iveytune and wasn't very happy with there service.

See post 2 and 3. You'll thank yourself. There is no shop in NJ I would recommend to you unfortunately.
