ECU evo 8?

Does the 2003 evo 8 ecu look like this or is this something else?

It does not look like my friends ECU since that one has

badge

That's my thought as well when looking at it!

anyone got any idea what it can be? my car was imported from the US so i guess its done there.

Seems like GEMS ecu when look around at it.

Based on the three pin plug on the left side, this is GEMS.
