4 Channel Wideband

Hey guys as some of you know I am having some problems melting down my number one piston. I have been going through the car and having all components tested to ensure nothing in my set up is causing this problem.

So far I have found nothing that would have directly caused this and during my research I have found that the 4G63 motors are notoriously harder on the number 1 and number 2 cylinders.

I am beginning to think something in my build combination is causing this cylinder to run leaner than the rest and beings the wideband on the car takes an average of all cylinders it still looks good when tuning.

To ensure this does not happen again I have been playing with the idea of installing a 4 channel wideband o2 so I can trim each cylinder individually.

Does anyone have experience with the 4 channel widebands, logging and tuning? If so please let me know what your opinions are and if it would be a good plan or if I should simply toss a EGT probe in the number 1 runner to monitor it for safety.
