Ecu Flash Help

I'm new at this so bear with me, I can't seem to flash in a new ROM for some reason, it wont let me and I get an error message on eculflash can anyone help??

What was the file extension for the map you were trying to burn to your ECU? If you are using EcuFlash I believe it defaults to .hex files. If you are uploading .bin files for the first time, I believe you have to configure EcuFlash for that file type.
