Drop boost on heat... :(
Hi
I was in a drag race today.
My mods injen ic pipes+intake, tbe and water/meth 1000cc 50/50
Outside temp around 80F
Max boost 29psi on the race...
The race finished.. I was traveling and I try a pull with 3rd gear.. 35psi!!
When the sun went down the temp was around 60F... 38psi!!!
Why on race the boost is dropping so much??
Because the car from burnout and 1st gear pass is heating up too much then stay hot and cannot decrease the temp of intake air?
I don't have intake temp sensor if you will ask me.
