Looking for help tunning my 2.0L, T3 5857 full boost at 5K?
Hello all, i posted this in one of the other forum on here but though i should also post it here because it just might be a tuning issue.
I was just trying to see if there is some one els running close to what i have. Not getting full boost tell 5k and that seems a little late. I think my cams might be killing me but i am not sure.
The Build :
Block:
9/1 2.0L
Wisco HD pistons
Manley H-Beam rods
Stock Crank
Head:
1mm Over sized Valves
Duel Valve springs
Full port and polish
Comp 301 cams ( 264/264 )
Turbo:
PTE DBB 5857 with S cover, Open T3 .63 housing
It is a log style manifold with a Tail 38mm EWG mounted to it with a dump
Motor has 400 miles on it but i have not done compression test yet. Basically start building boost at 4k and full boost at 5k... Any one have any ideas? I would like to get the spool down and transient response a little better...

Update,
So i have not had to much time to put in to the car. I hopefully this weekend will get a good log and put it in to VD. I ended making some fuel and timing changes that i will post. Seems like i have full boost at 4700 and the turbo dose not have that lazy feeling any more. I think with my AEM True Boost i can maybe get another 100 RMPs out of it. \
I have some shifting knock i need to deal with and maybe a little more timing in the mid range.
Good things is the car is really making good power. Hopefully i get this hammered out. When i get my Double Pumper and bigger injectors i will see what this turbo can do when i put the screws to it.....
Also, is there a good tool for smoothing?
