I have been at 420/390 for a little less than a year now, and it's starting to feel slow again so I started looking around for new upgrades to achieve more power, with the catch being I need to stay on 91 since e85(e54) or any other fuel is just too inconvenient for me. I've looked at the threads on here but most of them are from 2008 or older and I figured there must be new ways now. I currently run a 2.0, fp black, 272 cams, 1000cc injectors, 3.5in intercooler and full boltons. From what I have gathered 450 is really the max on 91 without building the engine or a stupidly high rpm spool. So to sum it up how could I get more power without e85/super laggy turbo? Maybe the answer is you cant?

Do a flex fuel tune, unless you don't have good availability of ethanol, then Meth injection will help. Have you done cams yet? GSC S2's would probably pick up 30hp.

 

Oops yeah I already have 272's in there, forgot to put that in lol. I was thinking of a flex fuel solution, but wouldn't I need a different ecu like a haltech?

 

No they a make a flex fuel kit called Fitronic, do a search on it and from what I seen people have good results with them , oh and btw they work with stock ecu.

 

Yeah kind of sucks being stuck with one tuner though. Others have mentioned this. Fitronic placed themselves out of being able to work with multiple tuners.

Get vp octanium or torco octane booster.

Yes. He is good but not everyone wants etunes and there are very capable guys out there with as much or even more credential.
