Evo x dbw throttle body problem

Has anyone had a problem fitting evo x throttle body to an evo 9 ? Have one here and bolts etc lign up but electrical part of throttle body is hitting against inlet and stopping it from bolting flat. Just curious if anyone else who has done mod had any issues ?

I think your def the first. Most that go to a DBW TB have an aftermarket manifold and use a bosch TB. You may need to make a spacer to gain clearance.

I used an X Tb and it fit well on my skunk 2 intake .
You may need a spacer for the stock intake.
Don’t forgot to reference the tps if it’s an acd car.

Got it sussed and had a look at another rally car running same set up. Slight notch out of material on inlet manifold and bolts straight up. A spacer plate would also work and would only need to be around 3-5mm.
