Why go through that hassle of switching ECU's?

You can still have your tunes on your ECU, but need to make sure all the proper monitors are active when they plug-in. Your tuner should be able to do that

Coming from honda game it gets really old everytime i have to find someone to smog my car and pay a lot (i know you have to pay to play) but for so many years i think i kinda figure out how to save me a headache in a long run so im willing to spend the money now to set it up the way i wanna set it up so that i can just switch back to stock when the time comes for smog

you don't have to switch back anything for smog (ecu wise). Your tuner should be able to make it pass smog with what ever tune you have.
