Question Evo 8 possible power levels
Hi
One of my friend's just got his Evo 8 tuned with the following mods:
  • Cat-back Exhaust
  • Intake
  • Braincrower Stage 2 Cams
  • Water/Methanol Injection
When tuned the car made 287 WHP on 95 Oct on a Mainline Dyno. Is that sort of power level expected or is it possible to obtain more from it?

At what boost level?

Also, this is a Mainline Dyno & unless someone knows the difference % between this dyno vs a Mustang / Dynojet kinda hard to compare numbers

Its possible the ML dyno is the heart-breaker of all dynos?

1.8 bar so around 26 psi.

I saw somewhere saying the difference is around 15% or so but not sure
