Im going to get in there this week and find a place to put it and a way to mount it.
I'm going to have to get mine in there soon as well. I was driving through a local car meet up that happens every Saturday on our city and as I'm driving past a family standing by their car, a little 8-9 year old boy yells, "Hey! Do you have a 2-step?!"

You'll have to fabricate a bracket to mount it in factory location. I suppose you could use zipties for the time being. I keep forgetting to take pics when I'm working on my car of my mounting behind the glovebox. I wouldn't call it a very "professional" install, but it makes it very easy to remove to repin connectors and make changes. Fits perfectly though and doesn't move at all. I have the 1500 btw.
That might not be a bad idea either. There's quite a bit of room back behind there and it would probably be a lot easier to get back to.
