Looking for e 85 help

Alright so maperformance has a good sale on some e85 parts for my evo8. Im looking for about 300-350ish wheel horse power for tracking. The plan down the road is to get 272 kelford cams with my fp green turbo. I think id need a little bit of help to get to my numbers so im waiting for e85. Would i need the heavy set with the 1250cc injectors and the 450 walbaro fuel pumps? Or can i just get the starter e85 set up for around 200ish.

you have a 8 or 9? you really dont need e85 to make that power. but if you want e85, yes you will need 1000cc+ injectors and a walbro 255 at least along with full bolt ons. cams will net you more power and also the green.

Do you already have the FP Green ? If so, a green should make 350whp easily on pump fuel on stock cams. Stock Evo 9 turbo with cams will make 400/400 on E85 with the correct supporting mods. I'd say that with cams and a FP Green you could still easily make 400whp on pump with a conservative tune.

350 - 380 whp with decent cams (Kelford 272/GSC S2/Tomei 270), upgraded intercooler and piping, O2 housing and downpipe and proper tune. I'd personally do Water Meth injection if you doing circuit and want/need to stay on 91 Octane. With Water/Meth your knock ceiling is much higher and the charge temps stay super consistent (less heat soak)

Check out page 7 of this thread (and many other pages) for some data on 91 octane setups:

I dont blame you for wanting to switch to e85 even if you could make the power on 93/91. I HATE the smell of raw unburned fuel all over my clothes, especially when I want to drive my car to work. E85 FTW.
