Are Evo's having idle problems when they use the D jetro instead of the L jetro? I am looking to purchase maybe this weekend and am kind of woried about the map based. But, I can say that my MR2 Gen III runs speed density from the factory and man what a difference compared to the mas airflow set up. Also, does th 1449 for the d jetro include the commander and what else. Also, if you could give me the best price for the L jetro with the commander. Thanks,

 

i have the djetro and i have no idle problems....the computer fixes the idle by itself...it is awesome ...i plugged it in started the car and ran it with the a/c off...for 2 min...and it learns the idle...then you run it with the ac/on and it learns that.....it is an awesome computer...

 

I would have to agree...I have the L-Jetro version and after you make the car learn the idle, I havent had any stalling problems or situations where the car drops to revs not suitable for idle. Pretty much night and day from the stock ECU.

 

I have the D-Jetro - very happy with this remarkable computer and its management of the engine. Tells almost everything you can possibly want! Idle not a problem, however it may flucuate (sp?) the idle slightly. You will not be disappointed.
