Im trying to break 500whp hopefully. I just upgraded to 2150cc injectors and a walbro 450 pump, i have either a map ef3 turbo or ef4 turbo as my previous owner didnt remember what it was and i currently make low 400 whp on pump with what my new tuner said is a super conservative tune. I have 272 cams i also have springs and retainers done. a stock intake manifold a 4 inch intake because im going to speed density and im doing a dual 93 and e85 map.

 

500 on a Mustang or DynoJet type? Theres an approx 8-15% difference in overall value

Not sure i like the idea of shooting for a number vs what the engine & supporting mods can safely do!

 

500 on a mustang. I dont see why my mods would be unreasonable to make that much power.

 

He's not saying your mods are unreasonable to make that much power, he's simply stating that instead of having a set number in mind, instead shoot for a number that would be considered safe for your engine's limits. If your tuner says you're good for 450 safely or 600, then so be it. Just don't try to push the limit of your motor to achieve the 500 goal

Sounds like a stock bottom end.

 

500 whp is definitely achievable but pushing the bottom end to its limit just don't go over 425 torque youl be safe.
