AEM infinity vs Haltech

I need some options. I currently have the AEM infinity sitting in a box. My tuner is pushing me to sell it and get the Haltech. He said hes seen issues with the infinity in the past. Before anyone says he has no clue, He is a well known tuner here in the Colorado evo scene. Whats everyone's thoughts on the AEM vs Haltech?

I personally bought an AEM to start learning some tuning myself but switched to Haltech as i thought the Haltech had an easier interface. Thats my only reason both of them are pretty good standalone.

I'm still on stock ecu with 650hp. I've been look at upgrading myself. I know a few guys have had problems with the aem infinity injector drivers. My tuner also directed me too a haltech. I belive they are both great ecu's but I would always go with what your tuner is most comfortable with.

I have not used Haltech but I do have an Infinity and found the interface to be straight forward and intuitive. I would go with Haltech for the simple fact that their software is current and they are making updates. Infinity has been non-responsive and unwilling to work with me on officially supporting an 18-1 crank trigger in their software. I can modify their software to support this but that is not something I should have to be doing.

Just an FYI. Infinity has made no updates in about 3 years and while people claim they will make a release it seems to only be on the firmware side, not the software side.

alot of it depends on what your tuner is comfortable with.

I feel confident a good tuner could use either one with very similar results.
