Hi how do I go about checking the map changing on evoscan when the switch is pressed

I've wired the switch up and just want to check it's doing it's job. Because I've set up the fueling and timing to get pops and bangs and nothing happens . I don't have sas though. Am I doing something wrong or missing something

 

Hey not really sure what your trying to see in evoscan. I believe evoscan will only read one map at a time. If you are just trying to see which map you are on you can set it to flash your CEL slow or fast to distinguish the current map that the car is on. Then when you have the correct map that you want you can then go into evoscan and read the rom and make sure it matches what is flashed into the car. Then you can pull up and view your fueling and ignition maps. Idk if that helps at all but hope you figure something out, best of luck.

 

Can the Evo 6 ecu be logged with the tactrix 2.0 cable?

 

Yes it can. Just plug it in, choose what you want to log in Evoscan and log away. Depending on what sensors you have installed you will only be able to log certain things. Give the forums a good search to see what you should log.

 

What Rom are you currently running?

 

I'm running ceddymods . Can I use map tracer and virtual Dyno on the 2.0 open port tactrix cable .

I want to max out my turbo before upgrading

I'm using this rom and unfortunately evoscan doesn't work. Is there any way to solve the problem?
