https://evoscan.com/ recently updated their page. I would recommend the the tactrix openport 2.0.

Sucks about the overheating and CEL. Evoscan will certainly allow you to read the code and test out hardware like the radiator cooling fans.

awesome man thank you so much!! I was getting worried like where didi that site go? lol thanks a bunch man and about the cable what is different compared to the 1.3u cuz I wont ever buy a evo x and im seeing the that tractrix 2.0 is better for the x ? and yeah it really sucks about the overheating 🥵 but at least it went away I drove it from California with no problem the 3rd day waiting in like for a long idle she did not like that,.

The 2.0 can do stand alone logging to an SD card, and it can also take an aux signal from a wideband. So you can have a pretty nice logging setup with no laptop in the car. The only other thing is you will have to jump through a hoop or two to be able to flash the car with the 1.3U. AFAIK the newer versions of ecuflash wont work with non-tactrix cables. So if you want to tune you will have to read/write with evoscan and edit with ecuflash. There is also the possibility of using an older version of ecuflash that doesn't do the hardware checking.

IMO the stand alone logging is well worth it, but if you don't see yourself ever using it, and bouncing between software doesn't phase you, then there is nothing wrong with the 1.3U. I've got both and the logging speed is basically the same.
