Don't listen guys, V8huntr doesn't even have an Evo. He doesn't know what spark plugs are. For god's sake, he can't even spell "hunter" correctly! Oops...sorry, stupid inside joke!

T...does your boost stay at 22 all the way out?

I have an XEDE, not a UTEC, but thought it would be fun to participate in this thread. Custom tuned, I tap 21psi for a second, then taper to 17.5psi by redline.

That seems to be the common pattern for most... I know mine peaks a little higher, and tapers a little higher, but its likely a factor of the lowered restrictions in my intake/exhaust setup..

Actually your input is good, since the XEDE is similar to the UTEC.

I have the Xede and see 1.4 bar midrange (~ 21 psi) dropping to about 1.28-1.30 (~18.5-19 psi).

Like I said earlier.. 21-22psi dropping to about 19.. I think thats just how the factory solenoid and restrictor work.. you could try removing the upper restrictor but that would likely result in a high initial spike, and tapering down to 19 or lower..

I also peak at 21 psi and drop to 19 psi.
