Just got back from track with TXS stage 2

Ran my car at island dragway in NJ.

Mods:
Turbo XS turbo back (no cats)
Forge Recirc Valve
Utec

Pump gas on 19psi
13.2@101
13.2@100 (missed second gear)

Race Gas C16 on 22psi tapering to 20
12.8@106
12.8@108
12.7@106

All my sixty foots were 1.7-1.8.

Pretty Happy with the car def could have gone 12.5 if i didnt miss a gear on my last race gas pass where i ran a 13.1@105.

What you guys think?

Nice.. Dead on numbers for the stage2 setup.. Do you have any other mods besides the UTEC and the TXS Exhaust?

I ran a 12.42 with a similar combo back when I first got my car (S-AFC, 20psi, 3" Buschur turbo back, buschur air filter) so your definitely dead on..

I'm curious to see the data logs of the run or at least a pull of with the stage2 map, the one map I've seen so far has pretty conservative timing compared to the higher RPM timing my car runs stock.

All the car has is a Utec, forge DV, and a TXS TBE.

I'll try to log a 3rd or 4th gear pull one of these days after work.

uhhh, i ran stock 12.994, and now i got the Dynoflash with the mods listed in my signature below. So a 13.2 with them mods isnt as great as you think, sorry to bust your bubble. GET A DYNOFLASH by Big AL! Then go to the track. here is my slip to prove it.

Whats your point? I ran a 12.93 bone stock.. Ran a 12.42 with the mods and an S-AFC.. The truth is Zero, that not everyone's car is running as strong as ours are for one reason or another...

Given a good tune, it doesn't matter what you use to tune it, so I think a post like that is inappropriate.

Anyway, Subi, Its likely you have more in there if you get it custom tuned (if you haven't already) or spend some time refining your maps. I found the base timing map on my car was real conservative compared to the factory timing my car wanted to run.

Zero does have a point though, his tune was likely a custom tune for his mods and car, so his gains were better for that reason.. Regardless of what you use to tune it, there's more in there to be tapped.

Its a good idea to get the MAP sensor and hook it up to the UTEC so you can at least log the boost if nothing else..

your boost is way low. you probably should have been at more like 22 on pump and like 24 -25 on race... I have no doubt in my mind on c116 and 24-25psi it should have been easy to go low 12's at 112 or so.

Yea jermaine i was running into the same problem as dave where i just couldnt dial the boost in at all. I tried everything. I had my bleed valve almost all the way out on one run and it still wouldnt hit 23. I tried messing with the boost gain. nothing was working. I was even getting a lot of spiking. I did change to from open to closed (or vise versa, dont remember) because when i went into the map i saw you had it set at 500.

Has anyone tried removing the other restrictor in the line to the vacuum source? I wonder if that would help you guys.
