Sure would be nice if TXS would document all this stuff...
I thought it was for the launch control too, but I see it without launch control enabled.. the jerkyness from the flat shifting enabled has to do with the RPM you have it set for.. I got it too until I set it for 6200rpm, but I'd never launch at that RPM, they need a two-stage setup that has a different launch RPM and shift RPM (it can easily be determined by looking at the car's speed, if its over a certain rpm, use the flat shift RPM)
Anyway, my "Best" guess at LCM is Low Compression Mode, only because it happens under deceleration until the MAF level drops to a low enough load site that no longer wants to control the boost solenoid.. And thats speculation, I have no idea what It actually means..

yeah I posted the link earlier, I didn't specifically point out that its a 30 day eval too..
It'll take you a bit of time to get comfortable with the interface, but its well worth the time to download it, and definitely worth the few dollars to buy it.

Yeah I do have lanch control enabled
. I noticed the jerkyness between shifting to. I think this also could be the cause of my stumble. But I have seen it without lanch control. I think I will wait for turboXS to tell us what it means. If they don't know then that is scary

Could you guys take a look at my log too? Pointers/suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I'll have to look at it closer tomorrow.. But I can tell you have an aftermarket intake because of the MAF readings are low..
I can't quite tell if your getting full runs or what.. But I need to know what gear this was done in and what the weather was like.. Your factory timing at some point wants to run more timing than your timing map is using..
Aftermarket intakes definitely have the biggest impact on low RPM fuel demand and overall MAF readings which can affect the tune..

Man, is it weird not having AFR and Map logged into the log
I am curious of what is causing those 1 counts? Although a 1 count is really nothing terrable they can certainly be tuned out.. I am leaning towards then being caused by too drastic change in afr, since timing looks to be stable there.. Those RPM's are very sensative to big jumps in timing and AFR..
Jack, What is common Maf readings of a car with basic boltons without intake and one with intake? I am used to reading maf in V's so it is bugging me out not to be able to have a grasp of what kind of air the car is pulling..

Without the intake, you can see 1700hz and a fairly smooth frequency ramp.. with an aftermarket MAF pipe and filter, you'll typically see readings top at 1500hz or so, in addition the frequency ramp doesn't seem to be as smooth, and the readings can be a little erratic (jump around a bit by a large enough number to want to toggle between load sites)
I never even looked at a Subaru's MAF reading in Volts, but a MAF sensor that uses volts is a nice analog signal and less of an issue than the PWM frequency of the Karmann Vortex MAF..
Any sort of sudden timing change, or load change, or even environmental things can trigger minor knock activity.. you have to really listen to it with an audible det can setup (like on the TXS Tuner) to be able to tell if its a clank from the valvetrain or drivetrain, or if its a ping from detonation..

Okie.. the data makes more sense now.. The one thing I see is that you can gain quite a bit by altering the timing a bit.. at this moment your UTEC timing looks good on some portions, and a bit conservative (more conservative than stock) on others.
In order to make a power graph and see anything useful, I'd need a third gear run, from 2000 or so RPM through redline.. you should note If you have non-stock wheels and tires and the weather conditions too.. Or you can download data log lab and do it yourself.
Anyway, this is one of my tuning techniques, I start with a few third gear pulls, the reason I do this is because the gearing is high enough to load the engine but not too high to lose useful MAF readings. Additionally I can gather about twice as many samples as first gear.
This will give me my "Base timing" information where I build my maps. this is how you get your "Dyno Numbers" Once I get a good map for this gear, I do the same thing for second and fourth.. since second will give you more airflow, and fourth will give you more engine load.. Usually you can isolate knock doing that.. Finally I do a complete run through the gears and look for knock and then adjust for that..
Timing usually the map I do last. I usually start by doing the same thing for fuel first.. since you want to make sure your target AFR is in your zone, you can then return later and adjust this to compensate for differences in boost, or adding a bit of safety margin in areas where you have aggressive timing. (Remember, detonation due to aggressive timing may not be able to be quenched by using a rich fuel mixture, so its a combination of adjusting both)
Obviously none of this info is ultimately very useful without knowing the AFR the car is running.. but by the fuel compensation curve your using, it appears to be the UTEC map that came with the UTEC, If thats the case it runs a little lean under your torque peak (4000-5500rpm) due to an aftermarket intake.. and may need a bit more fuel at upper RPM's..

First Knock think I fixed it though
I think the timing jumped a little to much at the point of the knock. I have a question. In the mod Ign why does it says ECU. The map I have it set to doesn't have ECU in any of the load sites. Thanks for your help Jack in advance

Thats odd, It shouldn't.. It should be reporting mod timing in the map # your switch is on..
Verify your switch position.. make sure your UTEC isn't in program mode (Not sure if this would make a difference but there was a member who had a problem that no matter what he changed, it didn't "Stick" or affect anything)
If you have a remote switch, make sure the UTEC is on 0.. otherwise I have no clue what it will think its on if you have both set (other than not work right)
Doublecheck everything and do another run.. I've never seen that before, unless your map isn't in the slot you expect..
