There are other threads with some conservative base settings. Without a wideband, you probably want to stay with very conservative settings (not taking out more than 11% or so at red line). I don't have a whole lot of experience with fuel tuning, but was in a similar position to yours recently. I decided to spend the $300 for a wideband sensor and controller and used that to road tune my car to 11.5:1 AFR. If you have a bung welded near then rear end of the downpipe, there is a hole in the side of the passenger floor pan that makes wiring the wideband very easy. The best deal I was able to find on a wideband was $320 shipped at http://www.streetrays.com/catalog/pr...b3f904b3c46df6 .

Best of luck to you with your tune.

Paul

widebands under$ 300

i was going to purchase the plxm300 but doesnt have datalogging like the more expensive plxm500 , then i discovered the zeitronix zt-2
www.zeitronix.com has one for $260 with datalogging. and if you want to add a little more you can monitor rpm, boost egt and manifold pressure . here is the group buy

Good advice to get a wide band

What ever you do dont take out any fuel from 3500 to 5000 - it will be lean there with the cone filter

Take out fuel from 550 to red line like 10% is prob safe

BUT - a wide band is only way to know
