the EVO2s are 2.75" in diameter near the cat, and then gradually becomes 3". Just like the HKS Hiper, etc

Thanks

Greddy Evo2 Pics

I have the Greddy Evo2 on my Evo. I LOVE it! It sounds very nice and theperformance gains were awesome. The quality is top notch. The fitment is PERFECT. Overall I am very impressed with the exhaust. I don't have closeups of the welds, but here are a couple pics.

The DP pictured is the DC Sports catless:

You can see the welds a little in this pic:

Sweet.. that thing looks nice! What size is that neck down where the midpipe meets the cat? And what downpipe are you using?

Undeniably the best looking in my opinion plus the only true exhaust that resembles the stock looks. Quality wise, well what can I say Greddy, everything fits perfectly.

This exhaust comes with a silencer which is something many other competitors don't even offer. It is my third Greddy Evo II I purchased for my cars. Great sounds, you will never regret.

I got EVO2 exhaust too, I had JIC Ti before which was too loud, EVO2 sound just right, you can make it loud or quiet, and it sounds like a expensive sports car. the best part I like it about it is, it fits my evo IX jdm bumper perfectly, b/c it comes out straight like stock's.

Evo2 pros: looks, built quality, price, quieter than average
Evo2 cons: loud, heavier than stock, less powerful than full 3" exhausts

I replaced the 3" Logic Performance exhaust with the Greddy. The Logic's noise/vibration levels were unbearable. In terms of refinement, the Evo2 is a big improvement over the generic LP catback, however the car feels a tad slower above 6k rpms

heavier than stock? i doubt that. the stock muffler weighs like 50 pounds.

OEM catback: 34.5 lbs.

EVO2 catback: 34.8 lbs.

The Greddy is marginally heavier. Most of aftermarket 3" catbacks are 5-10 lbs. lighter.

I meant 34.5 lbs. WITHOUT cat and downpipe.
