Guys couple of points on the Titanium Exhaust. There really is no comparison to any other Ti exhaust on the market value for value.
The Greddy Ti exhaust system is far inferior in terms of quality. The titanium used is not manufactured in Japan, the tube itself is rolled / seam-welded titanium tube, and the purity of the titanium is far less. There's a reason NHRA does not let you use seam-welded tube for rollcages (because it is far weaker).
The Helix unit on the other hand uses genuine Japanese spec Aerospace quality titanium. It is fully extruded single piece tube (seamless) and is much purer than other types of Titanium. The bends are cut and welded on tight radius bends as to ensure there is no weakening of the titanium from mandrel bending. The cannister itself is fully robotic TIG welded and is solid Titanium (inside & out). Basically there is no rival in terms of quality to the Helix unit except maybe the Amuse or Fujitsubo systems that are priced at about 2-3x the price.
BTW as a useless fact, although Japanese Titanium is pretty damn good, the best titanium in the world is made right here in the United States. I called a company for some 3" seamless tube that had some left over after they sold the shipment to Boeing. It was $150/ft.
Cheers,

I have the Greddy Ti, looks great. Seamless or welded in an automotive exhaust is plenty strong either way but fact is seamless is pricier, cant argue that.
I personally would rather have a smoother flow of the tube vs. multiple piece welds.
As far as quality of Ti goes Im very positive the Greddy will hold up just fine. I have a little bit experience in Titanium from Russia, USA - all grades. The US does make the better quality but that does not mean the other stuff will make your exhaust fail either. Plenty of Russian jets flying around with Russian Ti holding them together but in the Ti market that stuff fetches less $$.
Price on that Helix is great for a Ti exhaust. I paid $820 out the door for my Greddy and I was happy with that.

Can you tell them to make some without the bung? I have the IX so I don't need one. I also wanted to know when this exhaust will be ready to ship? Any clue on the tip size as stated before? Thanks
