I have the greddy TI and I love it. The reason Helix has those welds is because they dont have their own mandrel bender so they have to "weld in" the bends. greddy has a bender so theyc an just bend the pipes. as far as quality goes I think Greddy exhaust are some of the best made, way better then HKS. My Gf had a greddy evo2 exhaust on her GST for years and it sounded great and performed wonderful, even after she dented the sh*t out of it because her car was so low. I had the greddy evo2 on my evo and now have the greddy Ti and I'll probably never get another exhaust, unless I sell this one to get another brand new one.

The helix one is nice but I imagine it will have the same fitment problems of the SS version where it rubs against the inside of the rear bumper. its still a nice exhaust but I see the greddy going for 850$ shipped on numerous sites. if this one is 799$ shipped its saving 50$.

i'm gonna try and pick one of these up for a local car so we do a writeup on it. I'm happy to see another titanium exhaust on the market though

I wouldn't say that about Helix. Look at their downpipe. The best downpipe out there, in 3" that is. They didn't have to weld those bends. So saying that they don't have a mandrel bender is actually untrue.

If their downpipe was the best 3" out it would fit perfect on the 2005s and the first 2 versions indeed do not. Mine sits on top of the transfer case.

Thanks for the review on the Greddy Titanium exhaust. There's no doubt Greddy makes great products. However, Greddy ti exhaust piping is very thin compare with Helix and is prone to crack if you hit it on a speed bump.

For your information, there were only one batch of Helix SS exhaust that was off center and all the previous ones fitted perfectly without any complaints. I am sure there are many satisfied customers out there with the exhaust. Also, Helix exhaust has been corrected and we are just waiting for the next Helix shipment. It should be here within 2 weeks.

Thanks,
Tom

Even with the version 2? I have version 1 on my 2003 Evo and it fits perfectly.
I remember they had to come out with a different downpipe for the 04's and up do to the addition of ACD.
