I haven't called about an exhaust, but the lack of phone answering is really getting annoying. Either answer the phone or return PMs, Gruppe-S!!! Hope you guys get your issues resolved...

I also got the older version of the Helix downpipe that is hitting the cross-member under hard acceleration. Is there something I could get, like a trade up of some sort? :}

i talked to them today...here is the process. You have to request a warranty paper then fax it back. Then take pictures of the exhaust were it is hiting. Then they give it to there manager for review and he communicates with Helix. Why wasnt this just explained in the first place??? Anyways if they have it in stock should be no problem with getting a new one soon. They said they would call me back. I am very shady on them calling me back because there horrible at this. No i am not going to send my exhaust in first and wait on them to mail one. I live on the east coast..thats a 2 week transaction. One guy from gruppe-s said you can keep your old exhaust and they will send you a new one...another says you have to send the old back...i think we whould keep it...i am not going to have my car down for even a day...hope this helps...i will let you guys know what happens in the next few days

what picture? It has been proven that all the helix V1 catback is screwed!
It is just another Gruppe-S trick to discourage us for exchange. I think They should recall all the catbacks they sold.

I spoke with Daniel last week. He said he'd be sending me the form and sounded sincere in wanting and insuring that it would be taken cared of asap. I still have yet to hear back or receive the form. It's too bad because I've had good experiences with them, but this Helix warranty and customer service in handling this matter is leaving a bad feeling for me. You win some customers in sales, but you really win customers in how you handle returns and warranty issues IMO. By the lack of their response to a number of individuals here i'm not too hopeful in this matter being expedited quickly. I hope i'm wrong... Gruppe-S??? what's the deal?

After emailing pictures and returning warranty form, I was offered to have my current exhaust fixed instead of replaced. I know of one other member who was also offered this remedy. So this maybe what we all will be offered. Just letting you all know ahead of time.

Bump for a response from Grouppe-S or any other Helix dealer.
Thanks.
I would think this is an oppotunity for a/any company/ies to step up and show the community that they are worthy of repeated business.

should a warranty claim take long with pictures and form already filled out and sent? I mean there manager should be able to look at when we bought it..know its the bad version and send a replacement with that form filled out...i am going to call everydaya until i get my exhaust...

IIRC Gary@Gruppe-S offered a 2 year warranty on Helix. I find it unjustly to ask costumers for pictures when they have admitted to there being a problem to the Version 1 exhausts and downpipes. Now the costumer has to prove what they've admitted to? Bad business IMO. When you offer a warranty you honor it unquestioned period. I certainly don't want my product to be fixed. How can it be certain to be fixed without the vehicle? I want it replaced.
