The only thing I'd ask Big Al's advice on is where the best buffets are... Maybe don'tcrap on other vendors sales threads from now on.

He is only saying something that is true. Al posted something about this kit a while back. It may be an isolated incedent, but it did happen.

Gary is referring to exceptional cases where the manifold has failed due to some outstanding circumstances. Lets try to keep this thread civil guys! Thanks.

Haha yeah you're right. I usually answer threads after about 12 hours of work, so sometimes what I say doesn't make a whole lot of sense!

What I meant to say is that for the amount of these kits being sold (which is well over several hundred world wide), there have only been a few isolated cases of the manifold cracking, and these were early generation HKS manifolds. If you look at the newer manifolds, the weld filler appears to be different, and I haven't heard of cracking on the manifolds lately.

Thanks,

Gary

Kewl......you had me confused there

I'm really interested in this turbo kit(HKS) or the APEXI turbo kit. I have to do a little more research.

This turbo does about 340whp on pump gas. On race gas it was 417whp/360ftlbs. This was at about 2 bar as I recall (we didn't graph the boost pressure).

Cheers,

Gary

Is this kit similar to the Apexi RX6 kit, in terms of track and street use?
