These are are great people and very happy to help out in anyway they can. Like the other guys said, instead of ranting right away why didn't you call them up of the situation. Maybe they could have done something like a discount on the next purchase. It's kinda funny too with UFO when his wife found out about the part he ordered. It seems like we know who wears the pants around the house.
Hey! Now now, no need to be mean . I'm surely not the only person who hides mods from their wife, am I??? I actually told her that it was a new turbo kit that cost $4K, just to test the water, and she went ape****; so I guess I know the new turbo's out for a while . We bought a new house just before Christmas and she seems to think that the house is more important than my car .

I'm not upset about the whole ordeal, but things could have definitely gone smoother. Like I said, just passing on my experience. I'm sure Gruppe-S will do just fine without my paltry business that consists of small things I can sneak past the wife .

[edit] I didn't leave them bad feedback either, purely because the problem wasn't that severe. I'm really not happy about having to take a Dremel to my trunk's interior but I can live with it. The wife's a different matter: I have to buy a new fricking couch for her now .

Come on man, won't even bother speaking to them? Sounds like your more concerned with bashing a vendor at this point than getting your problem resolved. I normally wouldent chime in for a vendor but these guys have been nothing but superb to me. Things like this happen, Its life. Im sure if your willing to actually put forth the effort they'll help you out.

Obviously you have no brain what so ever. Let me get this clear. I was telling everyone about my experince with them (poor packaging). Am I saying for you not to deal with them? NO. I simply said to take it into mind when buying! idiot.

Now as for your comment. Say they sell 100 things to 100 people and only two people come up and complain. Does that mean only 2% of their customers were unstatisfied? UHH, No! It means only two bothered to complain. I would multiply that by 10 to get a estimate of how many customers received poor service but did not call/come back and complain because people are generally lazy beings. If you question me, go ahead but it is a simple fact of business.

The fact is there are only so many owners buying parts for this car and only so many of them dealing with gruppe-s. I would work on keeping my percentage up instead of steadily ignoring a declining percentage. Which whatever percentage they have of the market has just decreased by one with me. Simply because I've gone through the whole calling/waiting for parts thing a million times before and I rather not bother unless the part was unusable by me.

AGAIN THIS IS SOMETHING TO SIMPLY THINK ABOUT. CHILL OUT FLAMERS WITH NO BRAIN!

Believe me, there are lot of vendors that ship without proper packaging, I had two so far. But, Gruppe-S is one of the best vendors and if they shipped something bad, just give Cal a call. If you have a digital camera, take some pic of the packaging and e-mail to him as well. They should send a replacement.

I didn't mean anything by it. It was just funny when you said you *** got reamed. My girlfriend now wife used to do that too. You know always asking her if I can buy it. But I told her....You have your job, I have mine so I buy with my money whatever I want and whatever she wants buy it with her money. Of course we also have a family fund only for big purchases.

i can understand your frustration
but i personally have spend a few g's with them and they have always shown extreme professionalism and dedication towards customer service...........i personally won't judge a retailer because of their mistake, but how they took care of it
i keep going back to em beacuse of great pricing and the fact they are into cars as much as i am
my .000000002 cents
