Helix Ver.2 Downpipe

For those that have installed the Helix version 2 down pipe, do you have any problems with it? I know the first batch had rubbing issues with the lower frame and tie bars. Has this been fixed in the new version? Also, does the helix down pipe retain the stock doughnut gasket at the O2 housing?

Thanks!

I have the ver2, and no problem with it. It clears both tie bars and not hitting the subframe. The DP retain the stock doughnut gasket at the o2 housing.

I think the ver1 had some minor rubbing issue w/ the upper subframe but did clear the tie-bars.

This is just base on my own experience.. others can be vary tho..

My V2 downpipe cleared the lower bars but was rubbing the subframe with a Ultimate Racing 3" high flow cat and stock exhaust. I got the Kartboy hangers installed and everything seems to be okay now. I have a strap on heatshield from Summit Racing on the downpipe to keep temps down on the oil pan.

Nice setup! I guess I will be stocking some harden hangers and provide to those who will need them. Thanks for the headsup!

Cal,
No problems so far. No rubbing even on hard launches. I like the DP very much. Highly recommended.

so the kartboy hangers will alleviate any rubbing issues by themselves?

Cal,

how much are the hangers? the 229/shipped price is still good?

don't suppose you guys carry thermal wrap or whatever it is to wrap around the DP?
