so here they are and they are labeled for high boost and low boost. the car had something funny going on and we are not sure what it is but i got it dynoed and it did alot better with these cams compared to the other cams. you did a hell of job on these cams, the idle is way better than the hks's and the driveably is a **** load better. the car feels like it builds boost faster and pulls a whole lot harder, and remeber this dyno was on a car with basic bolt-ons and a whiterabbit 9 turbo. thanks and you will probally be hearing from me soon for a few more sets.
thanks alot,
Kasey

what's with the different ramp rates above and below about 4000-4200 rpm? It sorta looks like you started recording the dyno numbers at part throttle, and then nailed it around 4000 rpm give or take, and the power really kicked in. Just trying to fully understand the graph, as I'm considering the 280's.
Greg, you posted in another thread that you thought the 280 GSC's might give up a little below 4000 rpm vs. HKS 272's (if I recall directly), and you also stated the sweet spot was between 5000-9000 rpms. I can see where they might be a bit too much for a stock turbo. What's your opinion on a 50-trim only rev'ing to 7500 rpm? Would you go with your 272's or your 280's?

I am running a 280 intake and a 272 on our time attack car. reason being is we want a power band of 3500-8500. that combo should make the most torque on the bottom to give us what we need out of the corners. the car runs an AMS 3076 kit on it which is close to the 50trim. for stock turbos i suggest the same durration for those wanting a little kick up top over the 272 straight setup.

I won't really have a direct compairison as I don't have any #'s with my previous cams on this turbo. They were changed before getting tuned. Also will be using meth. We'll be able to tell what they're capable of though.

What was the final boost? Did you do with and without meth?

DTM Tuned
Just got finished tuning Joe EVO's car (04 WWRS). The car is very mean with these GSC cams. Very good results considering he is on pump gas
Originally Joe came to the shop with HKS Cams. Took them out and put the GSC 280's in.
Last week we tuned the car at 20PSI but we wanted to take care of some exhaust leaks before we tuned for max power. We told him to come today to fix the remaining issues and we later found a few additional boost leaks due to a lack of some welds on his lower IC pipe. He bought the kit used so we don't know who did the job. Fabricated a new DTM Upper Intercooler pipe for him. Fixed that up and put it on the dyno tonight. Results are below. Everything was done on a DTM Flash with 880cc injectors and 93 pump with SMC Methanol Injection. All numbers are all SAE Corrected.
Final Numbers Corrected@27PSI 432WHP & 366Wtq
Car is a stock motor
ARP Head Studs
RNR Turbo kit with Precision Ball Bearing 50 Trim
GSC 280 Cams
3" TBE
No Cat
SMC Meth Inj. Kit
AEM Boost Controller
DTM Upper IC Pipe
DTM Flash with 880CC Injectors
PWR Intercooler
Walboro Fuel Pump
27 PSI FINAL RUN ON METH!
BEFORE AND AFTER TUNES 20PSI w/Leak 21PSI without leak & 27 PSI FINAL
All SAE CORRECTED Numbers are on Pump 93 GAS w/ METH Injection on FLASH
DTM Upper IC Pipe.
