Seriously, i'm leaning more towards a 264 intake and 272 exhaust, more streetable without annoying family friends and you still pull like a train.

its comletly untuned. the new motor was just started today.

I like it lopey so i haven't cranked the idle up. Or added any timing.

You could get these to idle much smoother. This was the first time my car has been started in 5 months

you have an ix deleting mivec on the intake cam ay? and low duration cams on the exhaust side haven't sown any gains on the ix's you should get gsc s1's or leave it stock

i have hks 280's on my 03 and it sounds awesome. just like the vid. turned the idle up to 950. this thing pulls like a raped ape on top end all the way to redline(7800). it keeps wanting to pull past it if i bounce it off it. cams i would say are the best bang for the buck. if i knew they performed like this i would have put them on my 2g

I can tune most of it out.. where it just cuts ever few seconds.

I cant comment on the evo IX cams because i have a VIII. But I can tell you this

Gregg is a very smart guy and has GREAT customer service..

and Marty at Injected Performance can get you some great deals on GSC cams.
