GSC S1's ROCK!!
Hey gang,
Quick review on these awesome cams (latest batch, so I think the exhaust cam is similar to the Evo IX S1's), with the dyno plot first:
These were tuned and installed by IVEYtune.com, so I'm not sure how they install went, but I had head studs done at the same time (ARP).
They idle like stock, no noticeable lope at all - however, I have the stock exhaust components, so that may muffle the note. I asked A LOT of people on these boards about their take on these cams, and I had mixed opinions (some said there was a noticeable lope, others not, etc.)
No one would be able to tell I had these cams in they idle that well, and the mid range power is OBSCENE!
Sean had to increase my idle to about 1100rpm (on the TB) since when I would depress the clutch after a quick pull (like coming to a stop sign), the idle would dip down to 500 rpm and I didn't want to deal with stalls.
Besides an occasional rpm-search, these cams OVERdelivered on performance - I surprised Sean Ivey with such a minimal list of mods (DP, FMIC, and these cams are all the power mods on here!)
Thanks GSC!

You could have those Dynojet #'s with a TBE and no cams. You didn't follow the ideal mod path. You really need a testpipe and catback. Good luck.

yup, A/F's were mid 11's throughout, it got cut off in my excitement from taking the picture. . .I'll post the picture up shortly and added it up. . .
I'm going through different vendors and trying to figure out what's the best $$$ for a cat back - looks like Megan is the cheapest and best sounding. . .
As a disclaimer, this mod path was off set by my own personal underlying reason of using the Evo as a daily driver 50+ miles a day! I attempted to work on the intake side of our car (FMIC, LICP, cams) and not tinker with the exhaust really. . .but it seems like EvoM peer pressure is "forcing me" to go the other way. . .=)
I'm going to get dynoed on a dynaometer (like I did stock) after Ivey retunes my cat back so I can get a real assessment on how much power I gained. . .I doubt I'll take it to the track and see the "real world" power since I can't afford to abuse a DD.

+2.
I still have not seen a back-to-back comparison against HKS 272's or something similar. I know there was a review on here showing better lap times, and I know Nils says they feel better...but still no back-to-back anywhere.
FWIW, here is my 91 result again:
