Couldn't be Happier

Greg,

it's been awhile since I've been on the forums, but wanted to let you know the car is running like a double penetrated ape on steriods!

Unbelievable. I've put about 12,000 miles on the GSC 2.2 liter stroker motor, the GSC 280's, GSC headwork including springs, retainers, valves, port/polish, the whole 9 yards, and the AEM programming provided to get her up and running. I did have it tuned locally by one of the hottest AEM tuners in the nation, and I haven't stopped smiling over the last year each time I get in the car.

To put this in context, I'm running a GT35R with the FPR HTA upgrade, Aquamist alcohol injection, 28#'s of boost daily on pump gas, and lovin every minute of it!

Thanks for all that you do Greg and GSC!

haha,

Nils, hope all is well with you! Time has become an extremely valuable commodity for me, too busy to see straight. Drivetime is my therapy for the day that keeps me going Can't thank GSC enough for that.

latest update on my GSC 2.2l and GSC Power Division head et al.

I'm at about 23K miles on the setup now, but switched to 1000 cc injectors and a direct port meth setup, as the 880's were at 95% duty cycle even with the twin nozzle meth setup I was running. Oh, and dropped in a set of S2's to replace the 3+ yr. old GSC 280's I was running. Everything is still working flawlessly.

And now for the punchline..... Spent the day at MSR Houston. During the second session, I missed a 3-4 shift and wound up in 2nd gear, and the car rev'd to 9278 rpm's caught by the AEM datalogger. So I took it easy for a lap, and everything seemed to be ok. Did two more 30 minute sessions and drove the car home 80 miles.

Greg, you build some tuff stuff!

It's $200 for the day, but you need a track member to sponsor you. Or they have a package deal for your car and their track, which I think comes with instruction, but that's pricey at $600.
