New Policy From J-ondemand
Wasup members,
due to issues not being clear to our customers when ordering, thought id put it here in our own thread =D
1.we give eta meaning its not the exact date it will come. ( we go by what the manufacturer in japan tells us and add an extra week plus shipping). If things get caught in customs, it is not our fault(we do not put anything illegal in there, Its just more random for automobile parts to get checked at Long beach Port.)
2.we are seeing alot of abused boxes from bax global so we are adding $15 to all big boxes like bumpers, diffusers, etc for extra packing. Bubble wraps arent cheap and we already giving you guys a good price. its worth $15 on packing material and having it extra packed rather than getting your $1000 product dented or scratched and having to wait another month for insurance and 2-3months for the product to arrive.
3.if our inbox is full, please email us or try the other j-ondemand account. brendan is on here fulltime helping us out and hopefully he can take care of all in the future. our phone number is on there so please dont say you cant get a hold of us. best way to get a hold of us after hours is email. hishida@j-ondemand.com
4.cancellation: We do not accept cancellation on special orders meaning anythin that comes from japan. please understand just because you cant wait a few days or parts are in customs we dont accept cancellation unless its been a long time since you ordered. Everyone is aware of the process for us to order parts. We dont like to get stuck with parts or have to refund.
5.by law, we are entitled to 30day for refund. people expect refund to be paypal'd right away but it doesnt work that way. we have our accountant write them off so it takes about 10 business day to receive it.
6. Small things like emblems, dipstick holder is sent via usps. if youre willing to pay for ups then tell us otherwise, were not goin to cough up $12 dollars on a 5 dollar profit. sorry.
7.There are many reasons that can cause a delay from japan. Back orders in japan, not enough material, domestic shipping to our warehouse in japan, japan customs, vanning(packing into our container), race(at events, the whole shop goes to it), or they like to keep back order on purpose for future security.
8.Note that we are not like other shops. we supply them. dont come to us saying "why can get it faster?". shops like store fronts buy things from companies like us before hand and stock them. We are an importer meaning we get paid for our services.
9.Grey Marketing- We hate them, so does every other company out there. We work closely with the japanese manufactuers here in the US and in Japan to try to stop this. Buying from grey marketer might be cheaper but if we catch them and stop them, so will your money. Why risk paying less when you might not be able to see your parts? grey marketing can easily be spotted by us using serial numbers on the product.
10.Price Match?- were not a swapmeet so dont low ball us. We cannot sell products cheaper than we sell to our dealers. youre paying for our service, thats why we are on here 24/7 7days a week.
11.we just staffed 3 in japan in our office. started end of this month, well have more control over eta from japan on a daily basis. they will be shippin small item as well via ems and ups directly to our customers rather than once a week shipping dates. Price quotes will be faster.
12.How come we dont stock? we are actually stocking up on about 300k worth of products. thats right, it takes a good 2-3months for us to get these parts in but we shouldnt be getting any more "where is my stuff or whats the update" anymore. We are working with many manufacturer in Japan for new parts.
13.Well have track days soon for our customers to come out and run for free and eat for free. Well have caterings at these events here in the west coast and east coast.
14.no chargeback will be allowed unless you ask for refund and not given within 10 business days. Chargebacks can ruin our relationship with our merchant services and ruin others from ordering with their credit cards.
