All I hear is spooling, no venting really. ****ty speakers at work though. Gonna have to give it another listen at home.

 

even with ****ty mic/speakers u should be able to hear and recognize the sound and it doesnt sound like he has a blow off valve

Only if it's vented to atmosphere. If he's running a recirculated BoV you may not hear it under normal driving conditions.

willing to bet money no BOV on this setup. atleast it's not present in the wav file.

EDIT: just noticed he says "only have the exhaust side". There cant be a BOV if he only has the exhaust side. Also, i never heard of this before so Im just guessing but is the turbo just pushing air out into your engine bay for now? or what?

I thought a BOV or a CBV was always needed.

 

I'm still using my dump tube and you can hear my valve just fine. It would be louder of course if I removed it but it is a known fact doing this in my set-up is a performance henderance, most people just do it for the sound tho
