that seems like it would work better if they relocated that battery...the intake seems kind of useless. i think there was something about this turbo a while ago. wonder what the number on this thing will be

I hardly think it would be useless. I don't know if it's going to be a production kit, but who knows?

I think the layout looks pretty damned good. I dunno what's up with that heat shield though. If there's anything that looks useless to me it's that.

EDIT: I forgot the whole reason I posted in the first place.

I was gonna say your best bet is to e-mail Blair and just ask. He's pretty on point and a nice guy. Best way to get a direct answer is to ask directly.

With RMR's pricing, expect it to be between $7000-$8000

Not likely. Turbo kits really aren't that expensive to produce.

I wonder if the RMR turbo kit would keep my warranty from being voided...

Yeah, I'm sure MMC would love to warranty aftermarket boost. Especially with people upping the boost to a bar and then claiming it happened at 6psi. Warranty nightmare.

I had no idea RMR had produced a custom turbo for the lancer.

How much more horsepower do you think a CAI setup actually gets over a SRI setup?

My point exactly.

Plus, there isn't enough room to fit a CAI and a turbo under the Lancer hood.

::edit::Ignore the last sentence. Stupid I am.

Not true. The RRM and RPW setups both use cold air feeds. The filter is slightly more exposed in those cases because the CAI doesn't sit where say an Injen or AEM CAI filter would sit. I'd try to find pictures, but I've got work to finish before I get out of work. Try looking through Boni's reg entry and zlancer's first thread about his turbo setup.

I remember reading that allowed owners of the current gen eclipse to supercharge their cars and remain under warranty as long as it was the approved kit and done by an approved installer.
